Just set up a new Group: Painted-Ladies
Yep... I've gone and done it: I've set up a new Group called Painted-Ladies http://painted-ladies.deviantart.com/ for all those artists (Painters, drawers, etc.) who need a little showcasing. There are plenty of photos of women that are easy to find, but a good painting or drawing? Not really.
So I've set up this Group for all created images of the female form from portraits to nudes (and everything in-between). It'd be great if someone were to take it over (as I don't have a hankering to manage Groups... just that I felt this one should exist) but until then, I'll run it.

My health deteriorated somewhat (thankfully for only a couple of weeks) and because of some family issues (to put it mildly), I've not been very productive of late. So I decided to take this time to fiddle around with my other accounts on RedBubble and Lulu as well as my blog (check it out: http://sadisticscribbler.blogspot.com/)
While updating my RB account I noticed that my latest image seems to be a hulluva lot more popular there than here. Wonder why?

I have just been looking at your "ideas" web site and I mean all of it. I read your piece about the lack of support from your 'work place'. It is obvious from the rest of your web site that you are a very intelligent, talented individual. The treatment which you received from the education authorities disgusts but does not surprise me. I have several friends still in the teaching profession, but I have just as many who have retired at the first chance they got. Not because they were not dedicated, but because of change in attitude of the authorities.
A lot of them, similar age to you and a bit older. It must have been a difficult pill to swallow but, if you can get some strength, manage your disabilities to fit your own regime, it can only make you feel better, health wise, to move on. Take your talents and make them work for you instead of wasting them on a faceless entity! I'm sure your family support you in everything you do and that is worth more than any ungrateful employer can, or will, do for you. I wish you much energy and the will to keep positive, and I'm sure with your talent and the will to succeed, you can't go wrong! Wriggly er, I mean Carol!
